It’s all in a new display, Read All About It: Australian Newspapers 1803-1954, now on show at the National Library of Australia. The display celebrates the National Library’s Australian Newspapers Digitisation Project. In 2007, the National Library began to digitise out-of-copyright newspapers, in collaboration with state and territory libraries. The aim was to ensure this important window into our history was available to everyone, now and into the future. See the early newspapers online at http://newspapers.nla.gov.au/

Read All About It: Australian Newspapers 1803-1954 is on display on the Fourth Floor of the National Library until 31 July 2011.
